CHAPTER SIX
BREAKING THE LIMITS
“You are limited not by reality but by reality as you perceive it to be”
…….. (Some parts ommited) We become limited not by reality, but by
reality as we perceive it to be.
An eagle's egg was
placed in the nest of a chicken. The egg hatched and the little eagle grew up
thinking it was a chicken. The eagle did what the chickens did. It scratched in
the dirt for seeds. It clucked and cackled. It never flew more than a few feet
because that is what the chickens did. One day he saw an eagle flying
gracefully and majestically in the open sky. He asked the chickens: "What
is that beautiful bird?" The chickens replied, "That is an eagle. He
is an outstanding bird, but you cannot fly like him because you are just a
chicken." So the eagle never gave it a second thought, believing that to
be the truth. He lived the life of chicken and died a chicken, depriving
himself of his heritage because of his lack of vision. What a waste! He was
born to win, but was conditioned to lose. We are limited not by the reality,
but default mode; a wrongly conditioned mind.

fundamental tool to create a positive or negative result in managing our life.
Our Mind’s eye is shaped by experiences and choice, which determine the way we
view the world and, ultimately, determine success or failure in our lives.
Within you is the abundance of ability,
abundance of happiness, abundance of wealthy. You need to reposition and
redirect your mind to the true focus. To be able to see the reality with it’s
really meaning. To get out of the box and live the life, talk the talk and walk
the walk.
You may get a mirror and go to the quiet and
comfortable place alone- only you with your mirror. Think for a moment about
your life. Think on things you perceive good. Think all possible good things
which you desire to do or to have. Write them on to the paper. Read them twice
or thrice times aloud. Look yourself onto the mirror. Try to see the ability
within you. Tell your image in the mirror that, ‘you can do and you can have what you desire’. Within us there are abundances
of abilities. Activate your mind and start using your brain. Everyone have the
mind but some are deactivated. You are the way you are as a result of how you
use your mind. Your life style reflects your thoughts.
The seed of happiness only blooms when one
stays strong and never gives up. When we limit ourselves with low expectations
the growth of the tree of happiness ceases. The power of growth, of
improvement, the power to overcome all stagnation and break through every
obstacle and transform a barren wasteland into a verdant field, that
unstoppable power of hope resides right within your own heart. The tree of
happiness will start to grow well inside your innermost being when you face the
future without doubt or fear: "I can do more. I can grow. I can become a
bigger and better human being." Life is a never-ending struggle to grow.
There is no limit but you, yourself.
It doesn’t matter who you are, you have to do something. Regardless of
your great achievements if any, still you have to do something. There is an
African proverb say that, “every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It
knows it must run faster than the fastest Lion or it will be eaten. Every
morning in Africa, a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle
or it will starve to death. It doesn't
matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle... when the sun comes up, you'd
better be running". Whether you don’t have anything or you have
everything, you need to do something to move forward. You need to break the
limits in your life and live beyond limits.
Breaking the limits begins from within you. It
must start in your spirit and enlighten your mind to think critically and get
transformed from the default mode; from the default conditioned mind; from the
ordinary man mind. Erase all negatives you put in your mind. Retrieve all the
dreams and desires of your heart that you gave up. Declare the possibilities in
your life and start to live in alignment of what you have declared; in
alignment with your dreams. Do things and talk the words which will positively
contribute to your dreams. Forget of what usual people beliefs and say. Start
living in your world not in the world of other people.
Never agree with says like, “no pain no gain”.
This is completely untrue. Many believe that you can’t gain something good
without passing through sufferings. That is bad attitude. That’s according to
the default mode. I should boldly tell you that, it is not necessary to get
pain so as to attain something good. It’s possible and pleasant to gain without
pain but work. Working is not necessarily getting pain. You will always suffer until you stop
perceiving your work negatively.
If you are not so critical you may also agree with the say, “Work like a
slavery so that you can live as a King” This is negative attitudes and in fact
the elite person should not agree with this say simply because you think even
beyond words. Try to think deeply about a slave. Who is a slave? This is a
person who is dominated by another person or something. A slave is never free.
He is not free to exercise his free will unlike you. Think about the
characteristics of a slave. A slave is usually hopeless, not comfortable and…..
